Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26th 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Seloxa Pharma (“Seloxa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the website seloxapharma.com (the “Site”) and the sale of our products. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia), and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector as amended by Law 25.

By using the Site or placing an order, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information

Seloxa Pharma is responsible for personal information under its control. We have designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our compliance with applicable privacy laws and who is your point of contact for any privacy question, request, or complaint:

Privacy Officer

Seloxa Pharma

2100 43rd ave

Email: support@seloxapharma.com

2. What Personal Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information we need to operate the Site and fulfil orders. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

Identity and contact information. Your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address, collected when you place an order, create an account, or contact us.

Order information. The products you purchase, order history, order value, and delivery details.

Payment information. Payments by credit card are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Your full card number is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe; we do not see or store full card numbers on our systems. For Interac e-Transfer payments, we receive the payment confirmation details provided through the banking system. We never ask you to send card numbers or banking credentials by email.

Communications. Messages you send us through our contact form, by email, or otherwise, including any information you choose to include.

Marketing preferences. Your email address and your consent record if you sign up for our email list.

Technical information. When you visit the Site, our systems automatically log limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages. This information is used for security, fraud prevention, and Site operation. See Section 8 (Cookies) for details on cookies.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19. The Site and our products are intended only for adults, and we do not direct the Site to minors.

3. Why We Collect It (Purposes)

We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for the following purposes:

(a) to process, fulfil, ship, and provide support for your orders;

(b) to process payments and prevent fraud;

(c) to communicate with you about your orders, your account, and your inquiries;

(d) to send you marketing emails, only where you have given express consent (see Section 9);

(e) to maintain the security and integrity of the Site;

(f) to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including tax and record-keeping requirements; and

(g) to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

If we ever need to use your personal information for a new purpose not described above, we will identify that purpose and obtain your consent before doing so, unless the use is required or permitted by law.

4. Consent

We collect personal information with your knowledge and consent. By providing your information to place an order or contact us, you consent to its use for the purposes described in Section 3(a)–(c), (e)–(g). Consent for marketing emails is collected separately and expressly (Section 9).

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting our Privacy Officer. Withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to provide you with certain services (for example, we cannot fulfil an order without a shipping address). We will inform you of the consequences of withdrawing consent when you make the request.

5. Who We Share Personal Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We disclose personal information only to the following categories of third parties, and only as necessary for the purposes described in Section 3:

Payment processors. Stripe, Inc. processes credit card payments on our behalf. Interac e-Transfer payments are processed through your financial institution and ours.

Shipping carriers. We share your name, shipping address, phone number (where required by the carrier), and order details with the shipping carrier delivering your order.

Website hosting and IT service providers. Our Site, databases, email service, and encrypted backups are operated using third-party hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.

Security service providers. We use website security services that process technical data (such as IP addresses) to detect and block malicious activity.

Professional advisors and authorities. We may disclose personal information to professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) under duties of confidentiality, and to government or regulatory authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including in response to lawful demands.

All service providers who process personal information on our behalf are required to protect it and to use it only for the services they provide to us.

6. Transfers of Personal Information Outside Canada

Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. In particular, payment processing (Stripe) and encrypted site backups (Google) involve processing on servers located outside Canada, and our hosting provider may operate data centres outside Canada. While personal information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under those laws. We use contractual and other means to ensure that personal information transferred to service providers receives a comparable level of protection to that required in Canada. Questions about our policies and practices regarding service providers outside Canada may be directed to our Privacy Officer.

7. How Long We Keep Personal Information

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and as required by law. Order and transaction records are retained for at least six (6) years to meet Canadian tax and accounting requirements. Marketing consent records are retained while your subscription is active and for three (3) years after withdrawal, to document compliance with anti-spam law. When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function — for example, cookies that maintain your shopping cart and checkout session, and cookies set by our payment processor for security and fraud prevention. These essential cookies do not require consent and cannot be disabled without breaking core Site functionality.

We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and request your consent before those cookies are set. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent the Site from working correctly.

9. Marketing Emails (Anti-Spam Compliance)

We send commercial electronic messages only in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This means:

(a) we send marketing emails only to people who have given express, opt-in consent (we never use pre-checked boxes);

(b) every marketing email identifies Seloxa Pharma and includes our mailing address;

(c) every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly and in any event within ten (10) business days; and

(d) we keep records of when and how consent was given.

Transactional emails — such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and responses to your inquiries — are sent as part of providing our services and are not marketing emails.

10. How We Protect Personal Information

We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including: encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS across the entire Site); processing of payment card data exclusively by a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor; access controls and two-factor authentication on administrative systems; security monitoring and firewall protection; and encrypted off-site backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we review and update our safeguards on an ongoing basis.

11. Data Breach Response

If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will report the breach to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify you as soon as feasible, as required by PIPEDA. We maintain records of all breaches of security safeguards as required by law.

12. Your Rights

Subject to limited exceptions set out in applicable law, you have the right to:

Access. Request access to the personal information we hold about you, information about how it has been used, and the names or categories of third parties to whom it has been disclosed.

Correction. Request correction of personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Withdrawal of consent. Withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual restrictions (see Section 4).

Deletion. Request deletion of personal information that we are not legally required to retain.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer using the details in Section 1. We will respond to access requests within thirty (30) days, or as otherwise required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. There is no charge for a reasonable access request; if a request requires significant resources, we will advise you of any minimal cost before proceeding.

13. Additional Information for Quebec Residents

If you reside in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, applies to our handling of your personal information. In addition to the rights in Section 12, you have the right to request the cessation of dissemination or de-indexation of your personal information in certain circumstances, and the right to receive computerized personal information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format (data portability). Personal information collected from you may be communicated outside Quebec, including elsewhere in Canada and in the United States, as described in Sections 5 and 6; we assess these transfers to ensure the information receives adequate protection. Complaints may be addressed to our Privacy Officer, and you also have the right to complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

14. Complaints

If you have a concern about our handling of your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer first — we take complaints seriously and will investigate and respond. Our process is: (1) acknowledge your complaint; (2) investigate; (3) respond with our findings and any corrective action, normally within thirty (30) days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact:

  • the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca; 1-800-282-1376);
  • the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca); or
  • for Quebec residents, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be posted on the Site before they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
